Maynooth University has secured its place among global research leaders, with 23 of its researchers recognized in the prestigious World’s Top 2% Scientist Rankings. Compiled by Stanford University scientists in collaboration with Elsevier BV and SciTech Strategies Inc., the rankings are based on Scopus data and identify the most cited and influential researchers across various fields.

The acknowledged researchers represent a wide spectrum of disciplines, including social sciences, science, and engineering. Their inclusion underscores Maynooth University’s growing reputation for research excellence and its impact on the global academic community.

Professor Karen English is one of the 23 Maynooth researchers that have been named among the top 2% of most-cited researchers globally. Professor Karen Enlglish is leading WP6: Preclinical immunology and genotoxicity of newly developed vectors.
